Naza Group’s Yayasan Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin Helped To Make A Difference With Over RM1 Million Zakat Contribution During 2017 Holy Month Of Ramahdan

Kuala Lumpur, July 28 – Yayasan Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin, the corporate social responsibility arm of the Naza Group, distributed a total of RM1,080,000 worth of “zakat” contributions during this year’s holy month of Ramahdan.

Single mothers, the disabled, orphanages and the less fortunate households from eleven districts spread over eight states throughout Malaysia were the recipients of the zakat contributions. This is the fifth year that Yayasan Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin has performed this noble gesture.

“The holy month of Ramadhan is a month where we should be mindful of giving and sharing with those in need. As a leading Bumiputra conglomerate, we are thankful and blessed that we have benefitted from our country’s economic growth. We therefore want to share our blessings by making our “zakat” contributions to those in need.”
