NAZA HOTEL MANAGEMENT HOSTS 'MALAM AMAL MESRA' FOR ORPHANS AND SENIORS

Aug 12, 2010 - As part of its efforts to give back to the community during the holy month of Ramadhan, Naza Hotel Management Sdn Bhd (NHM) will be hosting simultaneous break fast events on Aug 10 for orphans and seniors at all three of its Naza Talyya Hotels located in Penang, Melaka and Johor Bahru.

NHM is expecting close to 400 attendees for all three of its break fast events this Thursday which are titled "Malam Amal Mesra."

The Malam Amal Mesra events at its three hotels are part of NHM's corporate social responsibility initiatives. In addition to the break fast events, the three Naza Talyya Hotels will make a monetary donation for every Ramadhan Buffet meal sold during the fasting month to Titian Kasih in Penang, Kompleks Anak Yatim Fatimah Al-Zahara Bukit Katil in Melaka and Rumah Berkat in Johor Bahru.

In Penang, NHM is expecting 30 orphans and 30 seniors from Titian Kasih for its break fast event at Naza Talyya Penang.

Several guests of honour such as Penang Deputy Chief Minister I, Datuk Mansor Othman and representatives from the event's various sponsors such as En Anuar Aziz, CEO of the World Best City Group are expected to attend the event.

In Melaka, NHM is targeting between 150 to 180 attendees which include 76 orphans from Kompleks Anak Yatim Fatimah Al-Zahara Bukit Katil for the Malam Amal Mesra at Naza Talyya Melaka while the guest of honour for the event will be Datuk Hjh Norpipah Abdol, Chairman of State Women's Affairs, Family Development and Health committee.

Among the sponsors for the event in Melaka include Astana Moda, Azza Confectionary, Tourism Melaka, Tam's Collection and Hulubalang Event.
Guests at the Malam Alam Mesra at Naza Talyya Melaka will also be treated to a special performance by Kumpulan Nazam Al-Ahad.

As for Johor Bahru, NHM is expecting 50 orphans from Rumah Barkat, Bukit Cagar, Johor Bahru while the guest of honour at the event will be Noridah Kamaruddin, director of Tourism Malaysia Johor.
