PM VIEWS PROGRESS OF MALAYSIA INTERNATIONAL TRADE & EXHIBITION CENTRE (MITEC) AT NAZA TTDI’S KL METROPOLIS

MITEC set to be the country’s largest trade & exhibition venue
KUALA LUMPUR: Naza TTDI Sdn Bhd and its construction arm, Naza Engineering & Construction Sdn Bhd, today hosted YAB Dato' Sri Mohd Najib Tun Razak, the Honourable Prime Minister of Malaysia in his site visit to the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), which is set to be the country’s largest exhibition venue once completed. MITEC is the nucleus of KL Metropolis – a 75.5 acre mixed development that is envisioned to be the ‘International Trade and Exhibition District’ for Kuala Lumpur.
Leading the site visit, SM Nasarudin SM Nasimuddin, Naza TTDI’s Chairman and Naza Group Joint Executive Chairman said, “We are excited with the progress of MITEC, which is now 88% completed, thus on track to meet our delivery to the Government in August 2016.”

Also present at the visit were Datuk Wira SM Faisal SM Nasimuddin, Joint Executive Chairman of Naza Group and SM Faliq SM Nasimuddin, Deputy Executive Chairman and Group Managing Director of Naza TTDI.
MITEC is the first component of Naza TTDI’s 75.5 acre KL Metropolis development, the upcoming international trade and exhibition district of Kuala Lumpur. The exhibition centre encompasses a total of 11 exhibition halls, a multipurpose hall, meeting and conference rooms, media and press facilities, VIP lounges, restaurants, and food outlets. Some of the unique features of MITEC include a three-acre column-less hall, exhibition space for up to 3,000 booths, halls with up to 36-metre high ceilings and one of Malaysia’s highest and longest escalators.
