V-Kool And Smiles Reward For The 407
Nasim to offer V-KOOL and Esso Smiles Card to Peugeot 407 buyers

In line with the company’s goal to constantly reward its customers, Nasim Sdn Bhd, the official distributor of the Peugeot brand in Malaysia, will offer all Peugeot 407 buyers a V-KOOL voucher and an Esso Smiles Card that can be used to redeem fuel or other items at Esso service stations nationwide.

The promotion is applicable to all of Nasim’s customers who purchase a Peugeot 407 from April 22 to June 30, 2010. Customers who purchased a Peugeot 407 from April 1, 2010 until April 22, 2010 will also be eligible for this promotion. The promotion applies to both the 407 Standard and 407 Premium variants.

Under the promotion, buyers of the 407 will be given a V-KOOL voucher which can be redeemed at any of V-KOOL’s authorised outlets in the country. V-KOOL’s heat isolative films have been proven to reduce the sun’s heat penetration into a car by as much as half.

Furthermore, it reduces 98% of ultraviolet radiation while a cooler cabin can result in lower energy consumption of the car’s air-conditioning system which in turn contributes to better fuel consumption.

As for the Esso Smiles Card, buyers of the 407 in Peninsular Malaysia will be given the loyalty card loaded with RM1,000 worth of credit which can be used to redeem fuel or other items at Esso’s service stations. However, for 407 customers in East Malaysia, Nasim will supply petrol vouchers.

The 407 was the first locally assembled Peugeot launched by Nasim after officially taking over the franchise in early 2008.

It is powered by a four-cylinder 2.0-litre engine with variable valve timing that produces 141PS at 6,000 rpm and 200 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm, mated to a four-speed automatic transmission with Porsche Tiptronic System.

The 407 has a five-star Euro NCAP crash test rating and is equipped with a total of seven airbags as well as other safety features such as anti-lock braking system, electronic brake distribution, emergency brake assist and electronic stability program.
