Petaling Jaya 16th July 2009 – In line with Naza Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs, a brand new 12 seater Kia Pregio van was handed over to Rumah Kasih Kampung Ulu Inas, an orphanage based in Negeri Sembilan.
We are happy to be able to touch the lives of the orphans of Rumah kasih Ulu Inas. Our donation of the Kia Pregio van will indeed go a long way for these children. No longer do they need to worry about transportation to school and back. The van will definitely ease their travel woes and the orphanage can utilise to bring them on field trips and excursions in the near future,” said SM Faisal Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin, Joint Group Executive Chairman & CEO of Naza Group of Companies.
We are delighted to assist the orphanange as the Group is always mindful of its corporate social responsibility in providing any form of help and assistance to those in need. Such a practise is not new as it has been carried out since Naza’s formation, my late father Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin was always ready to render assistance to those in need, added SM Faisal.
Established in February 2009 Rumah Kasih Kampung Ulu Inas has the capacity to house up to 50 children (25 boys and 25 girls). Currently the orphanage has 33 children under its care and supervision.
The orphanage’s patron is Dato’ Haji Mohd Jan Bin Abdul Ghan, who is also the Undang Luak Johol and together with Tan Sri Dato Seri’s (Dr) Aseh Bin Hj. Che Mat its advisor and Dato Hj Addullah Bin Hj Che Mat, Chairman of Rumah Kasih Kampung Ulu Inas, they hope to provide a life of knowledge and comfort to less fortunate children in Negeri Sembilan.
