Ferrari California in Naza Italia

Petaling Jaya 9th July 2009 – The new Ferrari California made its official debut for the Malaysian market at Malaysia’s Largest Supercar showroom today. It was officially launched by SM Faisal Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin, Naza Group’s Joint Executive Chairman and CEO of Naza Italia in the presence of top Ferrari Executives coming from Ferrari Asia Pacific Headquarter.

“We are positive that the Ferrari California will be the preferred model for new Ferrari owners”, said by SM Faisal. “California is the car that is targeting for a somewhat different clientele notably those who want a drivable everyday car but still with the characteristics of a performance car and a grand tourer. This is a new target market for Ferrari. They would be quite distinct from most of the current owners who would go for a performance based machine being driven occasionally for leisure especially during the weekends and the holidays,” concluded by SM Faisal.

Ferrari regards the Asia Pacific region as an important market as more than 1,000 Ferraris were sold in 2008. “We believe the introduction of the California to the product range will further boost Ferrari’s total market share.”said by SM Faisal. “Naza Italia is fully committed to enhancing the brand with various investments already put in place in terms of facilities, human capital and the various marketing programmes to compliment the lifestyle of Ferrari owners in Malaysia.”Among the programmes currently available include factory visits, Pilota courses, motor shows, and track days in Sepang international circuit.

Naza Italia is privileged to be allocated the Ferrari California. The company has secured orders for the new 8 cylinder before the vehicle has been introduced here, with the first delivery expected within this month. There have been enquiries on its availability from many potential customers who are eagerly waiting to view and test the car before placing their orders.

Samples of the various materials and virtual configuration tools will be available to clients at Naza Italia Centre to help them make their choices. They may also request out of-range colours and content to really ensure their Ferrari California is absolutely unique to reflect their identity and taste.

The new Ferrari California will be available for viewing at the Naza Italia lifestyle centre from 10am to 6pm (Monday – Saturday) and from 11am to 4pm (Sunday) with a price tag starting from RM1.7m to the limit.
